Indignation in Paradise

When a cheeky jackal paced up and down the opposite side of the lake by which B2 was resting, the latter’s reaction was not what could be described as “mild and passing” by any means. His reflexes were swift, the emergence of disgust to the face prompt and the action immediate. He rose with a powerful sweep, stared down the canine balefully and shot a look that could have cut a hole through a metal plate. Nothing was said but everything implied. The cool customer’s feathers had been ruffled and in the heart of his beautiful domain, the ruler’s indignation incited.
